FPUA Owns No Power Producing Assets
FPUA buys their power from the Florida Municipal Power Agency. They are the organization where all the city-owned utilities in Florida buy their power.
FMPA Buys FPL Power
As of 7/30/2022 the Florida Municipal Power Agency lists their power plants they use to generate electricity.
The first plant listed is the St. Lucie County Power Plant owned and operated by Florida Power and Light.
The rest are coal or natural gas powered plants. Some owned by FMPA and some the city utility. FPUA owns nothing to generate power.
